Westlaw AU - Introduction to Caselaw (Webinar) Online
This session will focus on how to find cases by case titles and citations. The Global search bar will be used to run keyword searches using Boolean terms and connectors. The Key Number system will also be explained to find relevant cases on a legal topic. This session will be delivered online via MS Teams on 14 May at 11:00am (AEST).
This session will cover the following:
- Locate a case by citation and/or party names
- Find cases on a point of law using the Key Number system
- Run a keyword search using Terms and Connectors
- Refine, filter and sort search results
- Organise case research with folders
- Create an Alert to follow a case.
This session will be delivered online via MS Teams. Participants will receive a confirmation e-mail message contained training details and a join link after registering for the training.
