As a researcher, you are constantly juggling different roles, dealing with competing demands on your time, and coordinating not only your own activities in publishing research but also those of your collaborators–around the department and around the world.
Booking is essential and places limited to 20 per session.
Prerequisite:
Participants must download EndNote 21, prior to attending this workshop. Instructions can be found in the EndNote Guide.
Session duration: 120 minutes.
About this session:
EndNote 21 is the reference management software that frees you from the tedious work of manually collecting and curating your research materials and formatting bibliographies and gives you greater ease and control in coordinating with your colleagues.
Learning Outcomes:
After completion, participants will be able to:
- Understand how to use EndNote by creating an EndNote library, entering references into the EndNote library from Library Search, Scopus and Google Scholar
- Import PDF files into EndNote, choose an Output Style, attach a file to a reference, search within the EndNote Library, customise the display window
- Create Groups and Smart Groups, cite references in MS Word, format the paper / thesis, change bibliography format / layout, edit in-text citations, synchronise and share an EndNote library
- Create and share references using EndNote Online
- Seek additional support for EndNote
